Visit to Narbhavi-Part 2

It is the time that i turned to V.Padma, sister of P.Susheela (a well-known singer). With more enthusiasm i went to her and my friends are already talking to her. I came to know from my friends that she speak telugu and i initiated my conversation as "Mamma gaaru Baagunnara?" . Shockingly i got reply as "you FOOL!!!why do you shout? Do you think i am Deaf (or) what???!!!@#@%#@$#". Smiley's all around and then i came to know that I spoken a bit louder with influence of Balambal as she cant hear properly. And there by our conversation went on like this...

Me: "Grandmom, You are from?"
Padma Garu: "I am from Vijayanagaram,AP"
Me: "Okay, Are you in singing profession as your sister?"
I got a reply from Vaidehi that "Of-course she sings well, she plays violin excellently
Padma Garu: "What are you doing here?"
Me: "I am working here as software engineer and i came here to spend a good time with you all and i am spending here so happily"
Padma Garu: "So, do you know singing? and she asked me to sing a song"
Me: "I started singing and i stopped immediately seeing her expression when i complete the 1st line :( and i said we are more interested seeing you singing"
Padma Garu (Started singing after few request-proposals): ".......................... aaaa...aaaa....".

Here We started recording her songs and she sang 2 songs more happily and after that she asked me to play the recorded songs.

I got stunned seeing her expression of dislike. It is due to the shake in frequency of song added by her age and i just wondered "how dedicative she is!" towards the music. I just felt that she has a good thirst towards the essence of the music and striving for it even in age 86!!! she keep herself engaged in listening songs, reading novels and spending time with her friends. I asked her an autograph as it will be a valuable collection in my memories. Also i felt i had a beautiful time with another great granny. Now its time for perianaayaki to share another good time.

"yen peru PeriaNaayaki" and she told about her family and shared her experiences with her children and grand children. I have not understood her language as she speak in tamil mostly however i had a capture of her feelings in heart. Every capture is an evidence of her love towards her family, simplicity, innocence, brave and she is a book of lessons taught by her experiences. Also she told about her grandson who completed his B.Tech. She is saying with a Proud Smiley(filled with love) that her grandson is so studios and he spent most of time with books. I observed a smile on her face which is soft & gentle however, symbolizing her missing attachment with him.

My friend en-quired about the branch of her grand-son and she has a Confused smiley brought by unknowing of the word branch . He told her that CS means Computer Science and it is a branch. I am wondering whether she can understand anything (or) not. Another stunning reply from her is It is EC i.e. Electronics and compu... sorry Communications . I kept my mouth open seeing her as a wonder.

I asked "Do you feel missing your family?" and she replied (with half-eaten Guava in her hand) "Not much!!! and this environment does not make me to think so much about it." We came to know from vaidehi that she should not eat Guava and she said to vaidehi that "Nothing will happen and is good fruit as this people.". I just felt "How great she is at heart(loving her family to the most)! How brave she is(staying away from her family alone)! A best positive thinker who enjoys her life to the most. She loved her children, grandsons and saying most of the things about them." I just gave a happy smiley in face with heavy heart and turned to Madhumati.

part-3 will be blogged soon. Stay tuned :)
